Katia's going to be the only vampire of her kind in the story. The others are immortal witches and Katia became a vampire because she wanted to be an immortal. Besides, for Isabelle to become a vampire, Katia would have to hide Isabelle's body somewhere and hope no one found it during the day.

Remember what happened to the first guy that got bit? His head was severed and so forth and the other guy probably had similar treatment done. Besides, vampires seem to have no control of each other. Katia's somewhat evil but, she doesn't go killing just everyone. Isabelle would probably kill Miroku and have kinky vamp sex with Jason. Other than that, she wouldn't obey her sire.

Also, Katia's extremely special because she's the only vampire. If there were other vampires, people would lose their interest in Katia. I know Steve wouldn't take the spotlight off the coolest vampire ever. It's not his style.

I'm kinda hoping it'll happen near the end of the story. Leave the possibilty of a kinky sequal. *crosses fingers*

I kind of don't want a sequel. There's so many ways it could go and all of them would be pretty weird. My favorite idea for an ending would be Patrick popping up with a shotgun before Katia can murder her final victim and blasting her in the head with a shotgun. Then Patrick finds out it was Jason all along.

Another ending would be the traditional, Jason is saved, Katia is banished. A really cool ending could be like Silent Hill where Katia wins and gets complete control of Jason's body and wins. I like the story but, I'd rather have one of those three endings and no sequels. Even though The Eight kicks ass right now, treading it out longer could be hazardous. Let's look at history:

The Superman Movies
The Matrix Reloaded and Revolutions
Almost every single horror movie sequel ever

Even anime has examples. Look at Dragon Ball Z, it's definitely probably the biggest anime of the last two decades. It was really good but it got awful towards the end and if you count GT, the whole franchise went straight to hell. There's only so many ways and directions you can go with the story. Eventually, Steve and Mazoku would want to go on and try new things. I want the ending of The Eight to be like SAW, completely unexpected and wonderful.

I can see that IC, but your missing soemthign else as well. A lot of story lines have side stories and what not that are just as good.

I have to agree with you on one point though, I also think this i going to have one of those endings that comes outof no where but fits perfectly with the story.

There's no real interesting side stories going on. There's Sojiro who went on a rampage playing Devil May Cry III, that would be funny for a while. There's Tristan's odd sickness. Alexei's shopping for sex toys. Isabelle drugging and having fun with Jason is kind of one of the main storylines. Apparently Robert the cop is keeping everything underwraps so, THE Eight don't know what's going on and since they don't know what happened to Katia, they can't really be doing anything.

The Eight is mainly about Katia coming back and getting revenge. Therefore, all the other side characters irrelevant and don't have any real interesting stories. Seeing how Katia only comes out at night, there's not much action. Hate to say it, but a The Eight side story, or The Eight ZERO isn't going to work.

Isabelle, Miroku, Tristan, Sojiro and Alexei are only there because of their relationship with Jason

Michael, Eau Bénite, Robert the police guy, Brian the Mortician and Joey the town-something guy are there because they're Katia's victims, or victims-to-be.

The only side stories are Sub-Whey Boy Dexter.

Hey, when will our next big action sequence happen? I'm part viking, half nationalist so I tend to crave blood more often than normal. I think it'd be funny if Isabelle tried to use some magic on Katia. Katia would probably humor her and then rip out her throat right after that.

Hmm, reminds me of an old quote from the Godather. Let us all bow our heads as I recite a glorious line.

I think that's true everywhere. Pyscho bitches are out there. I don't think killing Isabelle would necessarily be a waste. We need to send a message to the evil women out there. Evil men get wasted all the time. Why not women?

Probably because some parts of us men gets high on the adrenaline rush when we get dominated by seemingly harmless girlies. Cute and innocent, yet deadly... That's propably why the real Isabelle's ex didn't press charges, didn't break-up with her, didn't even talk about that incident with her. He knew she was dangerous for him, and yet he couldn't bring himself to throw her out. At the end, she's the one who left him.

Also, the animal nature in us makes us respect those who dominates us. It's only pride + the desire for vengeance (all intellectual emotions) that makes us attack a dominant person. Those who are closer to the animal in them will let those he percieve as dominant get the better of them, and only attack the weak, or those he doesn't recognise as dominants.

An example: Marc Lépine, a guy who was always dominated and put down by his mother, sister and female friends of his sister. Like many guys who feel deep inferiority complex, he was a big fan and collector of everything about the army. (Have you ever noticed how the more a guy is into an army trip and the less he's got what it takes -both mentally and physically- to really get accepted in the army ?)

One day, in december 1989, the females around him put huim down one time too many. He snapped. He took a semi-automatic rifle, went to the polytechnic school, and gunned down 14 girls.

Why did he kill these girls ? Because he hated females for the way his mother, sister and friends of his sister's been threating him all his life.

Did he do anything to his mother, sister and friends of his sisters ? No ! Why ? Because in his mind, they were dominants. Hence, it was easier for him to kill strangers.

And that's why dominant persons can get away with being abusive.

Als eigentliches Thema wollte ich dieser Seite meine vorzüglichste Anerkennung aussprechen. Das gezeichnete Werk verlangt meinerseits großes Lob ab und das spende ich auch sehr gerne. Das Werk ist wirklich wunderbar, die Geschichte fantasievoll und anbei auch noch äußerst spannend. Zwar mußte ich stellenweise Bekannte darum bitten Übersetzungen vorzunehmen, aber das hat das Vergnügen am Lesen nicht gemindert. Ich möchte nochmals vielmals für die herrliche Zeit die ich beim Studium dieser Seite aufgewendet habe bedanken. Ich hoffe das ich bald Neues hier lesen kann.
