---------------
Hi my name is Alex and I'm still waiting for the email to confirm my registration with a different nick from my eternal one Dak-o-Dak because the server won't take it...
I'm a student in printing management and in graphic communications industrial production. I already have a DEC as a prepress technician. For me, drawing is a hobby because I have no real talent and my comic project can't be realized because I can't draw the same thing twice.
Well, that's me... at least the public side of me.

Hey welcome Dak-o-Dak,
What bring you here? Which strips led you to this forum?
I'm writing to you in english tho I suspect youre from Quebec. because since our comics are posted in english I expect most people will be lost if we speak a "strange" language...

That aside...I forgot what I was going to say. I have to do something now. Later.
P.S. I am a bloody American so I could probably go to Juvie.

Well I read the Eight since it started cuz I'm one one Mazoku-chan freaky friend.
lol
Well I wrote in both language because I know that many of "The Eight' readers are french like me. I have absolutly nothing against english (I would even like to improve my comprehension of this language) but I think I should always remember that french is my primary language.
--------------------

Japanese is better than English. French is better than English. SimSpeak is better than English. Other than that. No language is worse than English. I am studying Japanese so I don't have to put up with anymore crap from this word stealing language.

Well, at the very least, this language help us understand each others... I guess the point is that our comics are in english to reach a wider audience. But I remain at heart a Quebecois... Veena's stories do take place in Montreal and even tho she speak in english in the comic, she is bilingual. Maybe Steve will tell us what language his characters are meant to speak?

Maybe he would do alot of research and his head will explode. How long does the KeenSpace site take to verify your Email adress? I need Armpit Theatre up soon. Also. If the draft kicks in and I need to get away from the US would one of you give me a place to stay? I'm not a warring person. I have stickers of fairies on my PlayStation for crying out loud. I have one volume of Armpit Theatre done by the way.

I don't remember exactly. I think it was about 10 days. And then you got to learn their codes and posting structure...and it's a mess. Good Luck.
Instead of coming to Canada, maybe you should join the Rebel alliance. Oh, that's true, you don't have one... ;D

I could always take over the world starting with Canada.
Nah. That's just too evil. I'll just follow Alexander the Great's idea. Only I won't lose.
I think I'll stick with brainwashing people instead.

Maybe Steve will tell us what language his characters are meant to speak? In The Eight, they speak english and live in a town called Harmony. In Les Huit, they speak french and live in a town called Harmonie. I created the series with no particular cultural/language attachment.

So, they are living in the Requin-verse where everything is like a coin, with two sides, and nothng is exactly real.

I see my introduction leaded to a discussion about english and wich language should be used.
Well, as you can see in my post, I'll use english from now on. This seems to be a large consensus by everyone. I know it's an pretty universal english but I seriously tought most readers were french-speaking. It looks I was wrong.
I didn't post anything on this forum for a long time. I was really busy : college, university and work doesn't make a good mix. It's really demanding.
