It is an old habit of mine to keep the spotlight to myself, hence people have a tendency to think I'm doing almost everything i that comic. Well, such is not the case. The Eight is the product of teamwork between 2 equally capable individuals. Let's see who does what :
STEVE
- Came up with the ideas, concept, scripts of The Eight.
- Draw little plans, so Mazoku Chan knows what to draw on each pages.
- Inks the characters Mazoku pencils
- Pencils and inks 97% the backgrounds
- Scans the page, puts shades of grey and speech balloons.
- Updates and takes care of www.steverequin.com/theeight
MAZOKU CHAN:
- Redesigns Steve's original characters in a more manga-esque shape.
- Pencils all of the characters.
- Pencils, inks and colors all the images for the characters profiles
- Adds her own characters inside The Eight. Miroku, Sôjirô, Alexei and Tristan were created years before she met Steve.
- Adds some new concepts inside The Eight. For example, in the original version, Jason's social life was almost unexistant
- Constantly kicks Steve's butt, so it's impossible for him not to work on the comic.
- Is the most valuable co-worker Steve ever had to work with so far
