The Eight takes a break for summertime, so what do you get ? This:  These are the first two strips (2 of 9) of a short comic I'm doing, story, art and color, for a comic humour magazine called Safarir. It shall be written in french, I just made it english here for your convenience. Also, so you'll have something to read while you wait for us to make some more pages of The Eight. The title is Scooby-Doo takes the Detour on Teletoon. Teletoon is our cartoon network here in Canada, and The Detour on Teletoon is the time, in the evening, when they show the more adult cartoons like Billy & Mandy, Family Guy,
Tripping the Rift, Delta State, Bromwell High and Undergrads. This short comic I'm doing will show all of them interacting together. |

I do it all ! I have no merit, I just record the episodes of these series on my VCR, pause it, see how they color, and do it the same way on photoshop.
Karine will just take my money.

grim adventures of billy and mandy are adult? billy and mandy get showen all the way through the day on cartoon network and the terrestrial channels over here in britain.
i dont know the show with the three school girls.
also if it wasnt for the second last panel with rocko thinsg would have looked perfect. rocko dosnt look right in that panel but everything els looks perfect also star wars kid nude nice touch.

Yeah, another guy just told me Rocko's forehead is too high. I'll fix that latah.
Here in Canada, Billy and Mandy's Grim Adventures is shown late at night, during the adult section of Teletoon's schedule.
The show with the 3 shoolgirl , Bromwell High, comes frim Britain.

Hm... Not much to show here now that my web host is gone.
Anyhow, I just wanted to say this comic is the reason why we'll have to wait 'til December before The Eight makes it's comeback. My boss at Safarir has finally decided to publish that 3-pager, but I have to reformat the pages because the format of the magazine will change in 2006.
Also, I have to censor a bit. In Bromwell High, on TV, characters can say "fuck" and "shit" and use all the profanity thay want, but that kind of language is forbidden in comic magazines. Hence, I have to make a parody which in less hard than the real thing.
Ah, the wonderful world of publications.
