Well Let's start somewhere, I wanna make it short and sweet cuz I'm a lazy ass... ;D
Start with more main characters:
Miroku: he's a character I set up in 2003 for a RPG called Demon the Fallen, from White Wolf. My friends and I still play a bit of that RP, but less that before. In that RPG he has the very same attitude as in The Eight, but he's a demon. technically speaking (WW term) demon faustian who uses fire... anyways... I thought he had so much charisma and I liked him so much that I thought he wasn't mean to disapear when we stop RPGing Demon so I gave him spotlight in The Eight. It happend when I was trying to give a look to Jason's buddy. I asked Steve: "is he gonna die?" he said: "no" and then I said:"Okay then Jason's friend is gonna be Miroku Ue"
His name is not coincidental, I gave him the name of Miroku the buddah of the future, and Ue means, superior, "on top" for an item and "ranking above others" for a person. I chose that cuz He's a self proclaimed god, (in Demon)

Alexei: Him too is a character from a RPG, Vampire The Masquerade that is! He's a Toreador... it's pretty obvious when you know the RP!
He also has the same personality as in The Eight and also has a mad crush on Tristan.. (in both versions) ^^ it's unfortunately not mutual... ^^; what else could I say, oh yeah the idea to bring him in came when Steve suggested we put Dexter Sub-Whey boy strips in the Eight, We decided to put the strip (that had been done 7 months before) as bonuses. So he came in early in Jason's gang!

Tristan: He's also a character for the same RP as Alexei and he's a Tremere. He has also pretty much the same personality and sicknesses as in The Eight... Okay, first the Tristan in the Vampire RP was 15 when he was mortal, and he was saved from a certain death (which he was waiting for) The main reason he couldn't die is not that he was too chicken, but he wasn't "lucky" in the suicidal department.... Also the Tristan of the Rp has also a scar form his last attempt on his left wrist. I just want to make note that he doesn't whine about him being sick all the time or wanting to die, he keeps everything to himself cuz he doesn't want to be a burden....
The reason he's in The Eight is also cuz of the Sub-Whey bonuses and cuz Alexei without Tristan is fishi! XD
Also he was supposed to be the silent one and never say a word, but I thought about it, in the cafeteria when Isabelle first appear, I didn't want him to look like the reject student who eats at some people he doesn't know's table cuz he didn't have any place left, so I made him talk and seem involved in Jason's gang after all..

Sôjirô: He's another character from Vampire, a brujah and a mangaka. He's a techno-geek as well and his personality (from what it shows) is about the same as in The Eight. Hum... I dunno why but I really wanted him to be in Jason's gang from the start. He was supposed to be in the cafeteria with the others in the first place, but I tought this: 1- there are far too much character there. and 2- Sojiro is not the type to eat at the cafeteria, he would rather be at the street corner's sushi shop. I had planned (I bet Steve doesn't remember that) tha discussion in those panels:
Jason: and where's your bro?
Miroku: you know how he is picky? he went to the street corner's sushi shop to get his lunch.
But the dialogue didn't make it....
Eventually, Sojiro became the silent running gag, always on his cell phone and barely saying anything! XD
Background cameos:
Anita: She's a character from Vampire again. and she makes a cameo as a witness at Maurice's Bar.
Zack: He's a character from a comic GÉNIE![/b] I started in 1998. He makes a cameo as the unlucky cruiser Katia meets.
Geneviève: She's a character from Vampire yet again! she has a cameo as the girl Katia french kisses.
Génie: She should be the main character in the comic GÉNIE![/b] I started in 1998, but her friends took a place of their own! She makes her cameo in the cafeteria as the surprised Student who looks at Tristan getting hit by Miroku's apple.
Sub-Whey:
Dexter: He's one of GÉNIE![/b]'s main characters. He's sarcastic, he hates women, men, living beings, life, the entire
He works at Tancred's Fast Food joint and Sub-Whey, he tries to get other jobs but loses them all. He wants money so badly so he can buy a gas chamber to put his whole familly into it...
Nathaniel: Another of GÉNIE![/b]'s character but not a main one tho, he's Sub-Whey's manager and he likes Dexter a lot, that's why Dexter stillhas his job there!
